BERGAI is a private Canadian technology corporation dedicated to the research and development of on-device artificial intelligence systems. Our work spans embedded AI hardware, distributed IoT architectures, and assistive technology applications — all designed with privacy, accessibility, and local-first computation as foundational principles.
Our current R&D program, ALFRED Mini, investigates the feasibility of a fully local, physically embodied AI home agent running inference entirely on consumer-grade hardware — with zero cloud dependency for core operations.
